Liz is a compassionate and experienced licensed counselor, board-certified art therapist, certified advanced alcohol and drug counselor, and holds a Perinatal Mental Health Certification (PMH-C). She earned her master's degree from Caldwell University and has experience working in outpatient settings, providing individual, group, and family therapy.

Liz specializes in working with couples, particularly those navigating the perinatal period, including fertility challenges, pregnancy, postpartum adjustment, and the transition into parenthood. She is Level 2 trained in the Gottman Method and is passionate about helping couples strengthen communication, deepen connection, and navigate life's challenges together.

In addition to her work with couples, Liz supports individuals experiencing anxiety, depression, life transitions, relationship concerns, and the many changes that can accompany parenthood and other stages of life. As a mother herself, she understands that even positive life transitions can bring unexpected stress, identity shifts, and emotional challenges.

Liz integrates evidence-based approaches such as the Gottman Method, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) into her work. She also incorporates art therapy, providing clients with additional tools for self-expression, insight, and growth.

Liz strives to create a warm, supportive, and nonjudgmental environment where clients feel comfortable being themselves while working toward meaningful and lasting change. Her goal is to help individuals and couples feel more connected, resilient, and confident as they move through life's challenges and transitions.

Outside of her professional work, Liz volunteers with the Pennsylvania Art Therapy Association and enjoys playing piano, tap dancing, and spending time with her husband, two sons, and two cats.
