Our Approach

Our goal is to help you achieve the highest level of wellness possible. This includes focusing on both the psychological and physical aspects of the problem.

 

Typically, the first session will involve a thorough evaluation and a review of your medical and psychological history. You will also be asked to fill out intake forms and complete some questionnaires about why you're coming to therapy. 

Although each follow-up session will differ, our goal is to support change while arming you with as many tools as possible to handle daily stressors.

In addition to addressing emotional health, we may work on:

  • stress management skills

  • relaxation

  • improving sleep

  • managing diet 

  • increasing exercise

  • developing effective coping strategies 

  • navigating relationships​

Through scientifically proven strategies like Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Narrative Therapy,  Mindfulness Training, and Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), we will teach you vital skills for taking control of your emotional and physical health.
